I cross-shopped the 13.5 HP MT100 combo and this 19 HP hydro combo. Paid the extra $200 and I'm glad I did — the hydro pedal drive is way easier on my ankle for a full property mow, and the 19 HP handles my slight hills without dropping RPM. Double bagger fills up fast in the fall, chute never clogged.

One combo shipment — bagger and mulch kit in the box
Home Depot dropped it all in one delivery. Tractor was assembled and gassed, both accessory kits were on the pallet. Bagger bolted up in about 30 minutes. Mulching kit is a 15-minute job — blades and the insert, done. Great turnkey package.

Great combo for the fall leaf drop
I have a lot with a dozen mature maples. 6.5-bushel double bagger fills but it holds a real amount of leaves — takes a while to top out. Chute doesn't clog even on damp leaves. This combo has saved me hours of raking.

Better than the Cub Cadet combo at this price
I looked at the Cub Cadet XT1 with the bagger and mulch kit — it was almost $2,900. This Murray hydro combo is $900 less and does the same three jobs. For a flat 1.75-acre yard I couldn't justify the extra for the Cub name.
